About Fish Eagle Lodge
Fish Eagle Lodge chose its name from the everyday presence of the Fish Eagle that has a chosen habitat in the area.
Willie du Randt, the owner of Fish Eagle Lodge, is a nature lover and always had the dream of sharing his love for nature, wildlife and people.
Fish Eagle Lodge consists of 5 luxury on suite rooms, each with a view on the entertainment and indoor pool area as well as 2 spacious self-catering units, accommodating four people each, at the back of the guest house. There is also a lovely fully furnished 5 bedroom house and two bedroom flat both with their own private garden situated about 300m up the road in Kraai Street.
At Fish Eagle Lodge we strive to make our guests feel right at home and apart from rendering the best service possible, do we also offer the following luxury services and enjoyment to make our guests stay even more memorable:
- 6m Luxury Pontoon accommodating 22 guests. The Pontoon can also be utilized for private functions as finger food catering and drinks can also be provided. Please see photos of the Pontoon on our Gallery Page.
- Indoor Swimming Pool
- Pool bar offering a variety of drinks and snacks
- Spit Braai Facilities
- Conference Room with Big Screen Television
- Kitchen and Dining Room serving breakfast and dinner upon request.
Fish Eagle Lodge also has ample parking available for caravans and trailers if you are only staying overnight on your way to the coast and back.
Willie is also the owner of Gariep Supermarket, Liqour Store and Fishing Shop situated in the lower town.
